Hi, my name is Clay Hurren. I'm 15 years old and this is my seventh year in the Armstrong Beef 4-H Club. Thank you Shepherds Home Hardware for purchasing my 2019 4-H Steer. I appreciate the support always. With the money from last year, I was able to purchase my steer project for 2020. Meet Mobie, a Simmental Red Angus cross. He has finished quite nicely on 22lbs of Beef Show Text Grain per day and ready for your BBQ this summer! I have booked Mobie in at a couple different abattoirs for your convenience if you wish.
I've really enjoyed the extra time I was able to spend with my animals being off school over the past few months. I flipped my thinking and made the best out of a challenging time from Covid-19. My passion is my cows and I have been able to live and breathe them fully everyday lately. Thank you to my buyer for this year. I will be using the money to put towards next years project, to grow my herd and put money away for when I attend college in two years for my Degree in Business Agriculture. Unfortunately I'm not able to show you my steer at Stock Show this year, but instead we are holding an online auction. We have set this up through Team Auction Marketing. On the site you are able to see Mobie and I, along with other Armstrong Beef 4-H members. Our online auction is open for one week starting July 4th and ending on July 11th.
